DALI’s ADVANTAGES
Independent Lamp Control. Every point has its own address in DALI LAN and can be controlled independently.
System can be easily reconfigured: Without hardware changes system can be quickly reconfigure.
System can be easily modified: Lighting system can be enlarging by adding new elements to DALI by adding them to cable. Present elements can be re configuring easily.
Simple cable setup: Every element in the system can be connect each other by 5 line cable with a few limitation on topology. 64 elements can be connecting to system max 300m cables.
Multi Channel Structure: With single cable few different groups of lamps can be controlled. Every element can be controlled separately controlled. DALI controller can receive feedback from every element with duplex data communication. A single DALI can be work up to 64 elements. As a alternative DALI can be used subsystem with DALI gateway.
Back-Channeling: With bidirectional data transfer on the cable microprocessor can send control commands by the way collecting information from lamps like light level, errors, etc.
System don’ t need network switching. Lamp’ s can be open, close or dim by control commands.
